For B2B SaaS Companies

Your buyers are searching for solutions like yours in Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.

If you’re not showing up, someone else is closing that deal.

Whether you’re building your SEO foundation pre-Series A or trying to figure out why organic has plateaued at Series B+, the problem is usually the same: no senior SEO & AI strategist owning the work. That’s what I do (without the full-time hire).

Sound familiar?

  • βœ“ You’re not showing up when buyers search for your category in AI tools
  • βœ“ You’re producing content but organic pipeline isn’t moving
  • βœ“ Nobody owns SEO strategy at a senior level, it keeps getting deprioritized
  • βœ“ You’re not ready to hire a VP of SEO but you need that level of thinking
πŸš€ 17+ years in SEO & 4+ years in AI visibility
πŸ“ˆ Focused on pipeline impact, not just rankings
🧠 Custom strategy + frameworks – not just SEO advice
🀝 Strong experience working across product, marketing & leadership

Where B2B SaaS Teams Usually Get Stuck

Organic growth has stalled, and most SaaS teams aren’t sure if it’s a content problem, a technical problem, or an AI visibility problem.

Quick Hint: It’s usually all three. And without senior strategy ownership, teams end up executing busywork instead of the right work.

Problem 01

Invisible in AI

Buyers are asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini which tools to use, and your product isn’t in the answer. Your competitors are getting cited. This is now a top-of-funnel problem, not just an SEO problem, and it compounds every month you’re not in those answers.

Problem 02

Content without direction

Your team is writing blog posts, publishing case studies, updating pages, and organic traffic is flat or declining. Without a clear framework connecting content to search intent to pipeline, you’re producing volume without direction. More output, same results.

Problem 03

No senior SEO ownership

You have marketers who execute. Maybe an agency that handles tasks. But nobody is sitting above it all setting the strategy, connecting SEO to your ICP, and making the calls that actually move the number. That’s the gap. And it’s expensive to leave open.

The SaaS companies winning on organic and AI visibility right now aren’t doing more: they’re doing the right things in the right order, with someone senior guiding the work. That’s what this engagement brings that an agency or a content writer can’t.

Why Fractional Advisory

Senior SEO and AI visibility strategy, without the full-time hire.

Hiring a VP of SEO or Growth is expensive and can be slow to ramp. An agency gives you execution but rarely strategy. Fractional SEO advisory fills the gap: you get senior-level thinking, structured deliverables, and a clear framework your team can run between sessions. I’ve spent 17+ years building search strategies across B2B SaaS, healthcare IT, legal tech, and professional services. I know what levers move pipeline at your stage, and I know what sounds good in a slide deck but doesn’t actually work.

The right time to start isn’t when you’ve hit a wall, it’s before it. Whether you’re pre-Series A building the right foundation or Series B+ trying to figure out why organic has plateaued, the earlier you build a real SEO & AI strategy, the less you have to undo later.

How We Work Together

Three ways to engage. Choose what fits your stage.

Early-stage teams start with a strategy sprint. Scaling teams embed me as an ongoing SEO advisor. Both work.

Model 01

Strategy Sprint

A focused, time-boxed engagement to build your SEO and AI visibility foundation. Clear deliverables, defined scope, no open-ended commitment.

  • βœ“ Full SEO + AI Visibility Audit
  • βœ“ AI Visibility Scoring Report
  • βœ“ 30/60/90-day prioritized roadmap
  • βœ“ One strategy session with your team

Ideal for: Pre-Series A and Series A teams who need a clear baseline before investing in execution.

Model 02

Fractional Advisor

I become your embedded SEO and AI visibility strategist: setting direction, reviewing work, joining key calls, and keeping your team accountable to the roadmap on an ongoing basis.

  • βœ“ Monthly strategy sessions + async Q&A
  • βœ“ Roadmap ownership and quarterly refresh
  • βœ“ Content strategy and AI visibility review
  • βœ“ Executive and board-level communication
  • βœ“ Technical SEO oversight with your dev team

Ideal for: Series A–C teams who need senior SEO leadership without a full-time hire.

Model 03

Targeted Deep Dive

A single-focus engagement on one high-priority problem: AI visibility gap, technical SEO overhaul, content strategy framework, or ICP-aligned keyword architecture.

  • βœ“ One defined scope, one deliverable
  • βœ“ Fastest path to a usable output
  • βœ“ Can stack into a full sprint or advisory
  • βœ“ Good starting point if you’re not sure yet

Ideal for: Teams with one specific blocker that needs expert resolution before anything else.

What I Deliver

Structured frameworks your team can actually execute, and get results with.

Every engagement produces action-oriented documents, roadmaps, scoring reports, and prioritized plans (not just general checklists or a slide deck you’ll never open again).

πŸ”
SEO & AI Visibility Audit

A full diagnostic of your search presence: technical health, content coverage, keyword positioning, AI citation gaps, and competitor benchmarking. Produces a scored baseline and prioritized fix list tied to pipeline impact.

πŸ“Š
AI Visibility Scoring Report

A benchmarked score across key AI visibility signals: entity recognition, structured data, citation patterns, E-E-A-T signals, and topical authority. Shareable with your leadership team as a baseline metric.

πŸ—ΊοΈ
30/60/90-Day SEO Roadmap

A phased, prioritized plan built around your team’s actual capacity and growth stage, not a generic checklist. Designed to be executed immediately, mapped to your sprint cadence if needed.

✍️
Content Strategy Framework

An ICP-aligned content architecture connecting your product’s value to the search queries and AI prompts your buyers actually use – across awareness, consideration, and decision stages. Built around your ICP, not generic topic clusters.

🀝
Fractional SEO & AI Advisory Ongoing

Monthly or quarterly engagement as your embedded SEO and AI visibility strategist. I stay in the loop on your roadmap, review your team’s work, join key calls, and evolve the strategy as your product and market change. One consistent expert across your marketing, product, and engineering conversations, not a rotating junior-level agency account team.

The Process

What to expect once we get started.

Every engagement follows the same four phases, built to move from diagnosis to execution without wasted time.

1

Kickoff

We start by getting into your product, your ICP, your competitive landscape, and what’s actually happening in your organic channel. Not a surface-level intake: a real conversation that shapes everything that follows.

2

Baseline & Diagnosis

I conduct a thorough SEO and AI visibility audit assessing technical health, content coverage, and how you’re appearing in AI-generated answers. You get a scored baseline and a clear, prioritized diagnosis tied to pipeline impact.

3

Roadmap & Deliverables

You receive a 30/60/90-day plan built around your team’s capacity and growth stage, plus supporting frameworks and documents. Work product you own outright, built to be acted on immediately.

4

Advisory or Handoff

Most SaaS clients continue with ongoing fractional advisory: I stay involved and help your team navigate whatever search throws at them. But if you’d rather own it independently, I hand everything off cleanly. You’re never locked in.

Common Questions

What SaaS founders and marketing leads usually ask first.

We already work with an SEO agency. How does this fit alongside that?

I function at the strategy layer, above execution. If your agency is producing content and managing technical tasks, I set the direction they execute against. A lot of clients use me to manage and evaluate their agency’s output, not replace it. It usually makes the agency work better too.

We’re pre-Series A. Is this the right time?

Often yes. A Strategy Sprint can give you a clean baseline and a prioritized roadmap before you start scaling content spend in the wrong direction. The worst time to build a search strategy is after you’ve invested heavily in the wrong one. Starting early doesn’t mean spending a lot, it means spending right.

What’s the difference between this and hiring a content marketing agency?

Content agencies produce. I decide what to produce and why. Strategy without execution guidance wastes budget; execution without strategy wastes time. I build the framework your content team, internal or agency, executes against. Different problem, different solution.

How quickly will we see results?

SEO compounds: expect 60–90 days for early signals and 6–12 months for meaningful pipeline impact. AI visibility can sometimes move faster – citation presence in ChatGPT and Perplexity can shift within a few months of targeted changes. I’ll set honest expectations in the first session based on your actual baseline, not a best-case scenario.

We tried SEO before and it didn’t work. Why would this be different?

Because execution without strategy doesn’t work, and that’s almost always what happened. A content agency published posts. An SEO vendor chased rankings. Nobody connected it to your ICP, your funnel, or what your buyers actually search for. What I do starts with strategy: understanding your product, your buyers, and your competitive landscape before touching anything. The work that follows is built on that foundation, and solid groundwork supports longevity.
